Absolute 80 IQ brainlet here. Why does everyone like photovoltaics so much? Why are there people that don't like nuclear or natural gas? why don't people invest in ways to better make "photothermal" plants? ( I don't think they're called photothermal, I just pulled that out of my ass. I mean the fields of mirrors that direct sun to a water tank and then powers a turbine with the steam produced)

The more mass it has the larger the area in which light can't escape becomes. A larger black hole will look like a larger ball of black.

Well first get a common scale. You can either get .75 of 0.04 which is 0.03 or 1 litre of 15 which is 20. 15/0.03 = 500 or 20/0.04 = 500 (sorry I don't know LaTeX)

OP ticks all the boxes of a pretentious highschooler who thinks himself as a genius (not really) and can't hold basic arguments without name calling

You know you need to be over 18 to post here

Why does everyone here constantly say that anything other then math is just "accumulation of knowledge" and "memorization". Is this just a stupid /sci/ gag or is there some actual truth behind it?

>I have deep sympathy for the concern that genetic discoveries could be misused to justify racism. But as a geneticist I also know that it is simply no longer possible to ignore average genetic differences among “races.”

>With the help of these tools, we are learning that while race may be a social construct, differences in genetic ancestry that happen to correlate to many of today’s racial constructs are real.
>I am worried that well-meaning people who deny the possibility of substantial biological differences among human populations are digging themselves into an indefensible position, one that will not survive the onslaught of science.

Field: Physics | Reason: want to destroy the universe

>be autist with vulnerability issues
>cannot live life properly after being treated unfairly, unless i get back at that person
>forcibly piss myself off by watching videos of people getting taken advantage of by police/isis
>cannot let that happen to me, so go into physics for no other reason than to make a device to destroy the universe
>could just always wear a bomb vest, and if the police shoots you, you blow up and get even at that person
>realize if I get sniped then the explosion can't reach the sniper, so decide to wear a nuclear bomb at all times
>realize if I get poisoned by someone on the other side of the world, that won't work either
>come to conclusion that to absolutely cover all bases, including aliens assassinating you, a universe destroyer is the only solution

why does the sum of first n integers and n choose 2 have the same formula?

I don't see the connection.
