How do I simplify this?

3^(n-1) + (3^(n-2))*2 + 3^(n-3)*3 +.... (3^1)*(n-1) + n

I cant think of any fucking thing and I have been at this for days.

These are so ugly and unreadable, why aren't the full versions ever posted? There's discoloration everywhere, it's low res and the text is so blurry it's almost unreadable.
