There are several examples op.
My parents were piss poor hard working class. As a kid I had to watch my father taking morphine against his spinal disc hernation and crying of pain while still being forced to work.

While I had an interest in math, their agony is what motivated me to study hard and succeed in academia. Money or interest has never been a major drive force, it's my parents telling me to get any job outside the typical hard labor field.

I am so jeaulous of those who have educated parents who through high school and middle school always could lean back to asking their parents when they get stuck on a math problem. I myself spend hours of hours finding out my errors and mistakes, learning shit that later was wrong and I me having to start over again. Even in fucking university my lab partners could call their parents and ask how inverse kinematics works. Having educated parents is really really a huge advantage and they should know it.

Nice, to see my meme is still being spread around on 4chan.

I made this back in 2013 just for fun and I still think I have the original .psd file somewhere.

so /sci/ for extra credit I can make a 3D cell model. What kind of materials would I use to make organelles and other structures, playdoh? Anyone else have experience with this?

Can someone here explain to me fractional dimensions? My Catastrophe professor mentioned it in passing and I'm trying to comprehend how that works.

I remember (not sure how true it really is) watching a show on the science channel saying how it would be possible to ignite the entire Titanian atmosphere due to it being almost entirely composed of Methane. Assuming this is true. Now, so far methane acts as water, complete with a cycle and such, right?
CH4 + 2O2 --> CO2 +2H2O

Why not actually ignite the methane and this way we have actual water and CO2 that will hopefully warm up titan enough to allow water in the liquid state to exist? Is this possible at all? Please enlighten me.
