I get that accuracy is the nearness to a standard value/precision is the closeness of multiple measurements to one another/precise measurements may not be accurate, etc.
I might be overthinking this shit.

>Will witnessing another person conduct the same procedure to obtain a measurement increase your confidence in the accuracy of your own?
Is the wording given.

Could someone please explain summation notation?

I'm trying to wrap my head around it but it's just not getting through. I sort of get the idea that you're condensing something like:

<span class="math">\sum_{i}^{2}~c_1x^1 + c_2x^2
down to <span class="math">c_ix^i
But I'm not sure how to interpret cases where you've got multiple subscripts and superscripts like:

<span class="math">A_{ij}B_m^{~i} C_n^{~j}
or <span class="math">a_{i}^{~jk}B_{jk}
Any help?

Let's see how good you are.

An unconfined aquifer has a specific yield of 22%. What is the volume of water represented by a water table decline of 140 cm over an area of 25km x 25km during a summer drought?
