Dubs decides what I eat. Options are:
1) An entire package of cheese slices
2) Raw beef
3) Moldy bread
4) A plate of chicken alfredo
5) My semen
6) A gallon of cottage cheese

Unplug it and buy a new power strip.

It saddens me that you referenced the Spongebob episode instead of Edgar Allan Poe (The Tell-Tale Heart, for the hopefully very few who don't know).

Also, sage for not funny.

I actually like this train of thought, but I have at least one problem (and I'm by no means an anatomist).

Problem:
The sagittal crest was lost in neanderthals and humans, but it was present in early hominids:

http://anthro.palomar.edu/hominid/australo_2.htm

In my opinion, if Neanderthals were these insane predators that he paints them to be, why would you lose the attachment point for REALLY strong jaw muscles?

Also, love the slit pupils in the model. That's just retarded. I would have strangled the artist.

Does anyone know if soft tissue samples exist? Perhaps frozen in northern Europe or something?

Oh, and the most interesting thing is the nocturnallity. That's an interesting thought. I DON'T like the fact he has to concoct some ridiculous rape scenario to explain how humans and neanderthals interbreed in order to conform to his MASSIVE SCARY PREDATOR theory. That's a problem.

Anyway, I don't feel like starting an argument here, so just read my post and mull it over. I'm out, /sci/.

WELCOME TO COLLEGE!

You'll get used to it.

By the time you graduate, the poles will shift.
'Home' will be depressing, because while you change, it stays the same.
College will be enlivening, because it grows and changes at the pace of your life.

At least, that's how it's ending up for me.

>Be an ecology major
>mfw hipsters don't know the bird tatooed on their arm is a kind of swallow (usually a Barn Swallow for some reason)

The above happened.
Also, I don't really think 'The Simpons' has been funny in the last few years. I think it's dragging out just so they can brag about how long it's run.

Look up antagonistic pleiotropy and cry me a river. Telomere degradation isn't all there is.

(No, seriously, I'm sad I can't be immortal either)

True, I looked it up.
Only the Northernmost of the contiguous states will be able to see it here in the US. No northern lights for Texas, it seems.

There are courses that don't require/have books (I'm in one right now), but Calculus is not one of those.

Get the book.

My dad scares me. He used to hit me with pillows back when I played football and yell "BE MORE AGGRESSIVE" or "GET ANGRY". I just don't have the same anger he has.

When I played baseball he strapped a splint to my arm to keep it straight while I was throwing. When I continued to fail and started to cry (because splints hurt after a few hours), he threw his glove at me and called me pathetic. So, yeah, I'm terrified of him, but at least I can talk to him unlike my mom who is on a whole other planet as far as interests in life.

I also blame them for dragging me around the country and away from my friends so that, eventually, they could end up 30 from where THEY were born.

I love them; but I get frustrated sometimes (and I'm smart enough to know that I'm actually mad at myself and not them).

So, yeah, I'm a psychological hat job with good and bad days. Thanks, /sci/cologist.

So... let's say my name was 747 on a list of 1000 back in 2009. Does that qualify as unusual under your broad generalization?
