Let's say Humanity found the a technology which allows it to build star ships and travel trough wormholes (or something else). Do we know any planet to colonize so far without a huge effort like terraforming?

Worm Holes!

I want to talk about ways that humans, or other advanced civilizations could construct these beast of general relativity.

1)Things needed to build a "stable" worm hole.
Personally I think that building one would be next to impossible but that's just with the technology we have today.

2)What would "you" use the worm hole for?

3)Other possible uses for the technology use to build/create worm holes.

Hello /sci/

I will be applying to a university soon, but I have some problems.

The minimum GPA accepted is 2.0 in state (Which I am) and I currently have a GPA of 1.88 (Which will rise above 2.2 or so after this year, if I do as good as I plan to) I have all of the course requirements, 4 years of math, English etc. and more. I chose to take a full day just to up my chances.

With that, my SAT scores were flat out bad (Albeit, better than 25% of overall accepted) I received a 1480 in the 2400 scale (Laughable, I know) and I will be retaking the test and will be aiming for at least a 1700 combined total.

So, my question is whether or not you guys think I will be accepted. I am quite worried about not being admitted, so I decided to ask people who have some college experience.

Thanks

Faster than light travel. What would be a practical way to accomplish this lofty goal?

My idea is to have a massive amount of pure neurons (roughly spherical, diameter of almost 30 ft) controlled by a massive electro-magnet, with another field around the ship keeping it free from the gravitational forces of the sphere.
