>I say it is a stupid question because every TV program, or astrophysics book says that light is the fastest force in the universe, and nothing can surpass it.

Remember when /sci/ was 10% science & math threads, 5% religious threads, and 85% tier threads

that was 100% better than /sci/ today, which is 90% religious threads, 9% unrelated threads, and 1% science and math threads.

Quick question regarding evolution. Has modern medicine reduced the effectiveness of natural selection?

Example: A person with wisdom teeth, if not for modern medicine, would incur an infection and possibly die, thus reducing the occurrence of the gene in a population. Since technology has caused wisdom teeth to be deemed 'neutral', there are no pressures that will lead our species to fornicate it out of the genome.

Also, can we just view modern medicine as a result of evolution, thus increasing reproductive fitness?
