Why do people on sci feel qualified enough to answer questions about fields they don't have any expertise in?

Every psychology related thread is flooded with pretentious faggots spouting their OPINIONS and ancedotal "evidence" when there actually is data for a simple answer.

A lot of pro-social/anti-social choice experiments involve some kind of gambling-paradigm, where the subject can decide to donate or keep his winnings.

That aside, your planned experiment seems to lack internal validity, to me. You want to specifically test online-groups, do you? Then you should have your experiment in an online environment too.

Are you from social psychology, btw? I'm doing my thesis in biopsych atm.
