How the fuck does space exist? It's not made of anything. This bothers me greatly.

Which low-risk investment methods could provide a return rate of at least 4.5 to 5% per year?

Well, I saved up some money and want to buy a well-established small business.

However, I want to carefully analyze the induced risks.
Where can I find risk statistics for each business type - for starting and buying?

And which science deals specifically with such issues? Please don't say finance - which sub-field of finance deals with this?

From what I've read, the risk of not making any profit from buying a well-established business is around 1/5. Do you know any investments with moderate risks which have a moderate to good return rate?

Which branch of mathematics do DIFFERENCE (a type of a recurrence relation) equations belong to? When and where are they usually taught?

It is not to be confused with differential equations.

Why does the second derivative test work? Why? How can passing the stagnation point through a second derivative of the function in question determine if it's a maximum or a minimum?

I know how to use the second derivative test and the second partial derivative test to determine local maximums and minimums, but I have no idea WHY it works.

Why would the marginal returns of capital accumulation not be constant until a certain point, where they reach 0?
Why are diminishing returns implied?

Let's say I own a company, and I hired 10 tractor-drivers. First, I give them 1 tractor. It increases the output by a constant, let's name it T. Then, I give them 1 more tractor, and the output would increase by T again. This would go on, until all the tractor-drivers would have a tractor. Then, the output increase would be 0 with each additional tractor added.

How to create/use a numerical (?) system in which one could add any numbers and be sure that the result couldn't be attained by adding any other numbers than the numbers which we've added?

Example:

a+b+c = d
d can't be obtained in any way, but only by adding a, b and c
