Expecting a job out of high school would be strange. I'm an undergrad working toward a BS. The scribe job was the serious straight out of the gate for me since I'm already seeing chest tubes and central lines placed and watching a metric fuck ton of medical decision making. And most of the job is paperwork so it's nice I'll be familiar with it. And the quarter million salary will be nice compared to classic tech jobs.
What was your first serious job and when?
