What we know: life has no meaning
What we don't know: whether the universe has a meaning or not

Go into amateur Cosmology/astronomy

doing it for a living isnt fun, unless you fucking LOVE math

Its not all Herp building rockets and blasting shit into space! derp! no, its ~95% math, calculations, and constent checking and rechecking those calculations

And if you want to be an astronaut, lol good luck, the last manned flight for a long fucking time was a few months ago

Isn't the main problem behind such a device eliciting a response from the dolphins? I mean, we'd be quick to blabber through it since we'll've made it, but you're not exactly guaranteed responses on behalf of the dolphins.

I guess having willing test subjects is better than no test subjects.

I probably wouldn't have a clue as to locate Earth, but if an alien being is kind enough to offer to fly me across the universe just to find my home planet, I would probably do something similar to

But then how do you know the bible is correct, and etc. and etc., we all know where this sort of argument goes.

Krauss seems to be picking up some steam.

Sigh.

<span class="math"> -4 = -2.3t - 4.9t^2 ||+4
-2.3t - 4.9t^2 + 4 = 0

t=\frac{-b \pm \sqrt {b^2-4ac}}{2a}
t=\frac{-(-2.3) \pm \sqrt {(-2.3)^2-4× (-4.9)×4}}{2×(-4.9}

t_{1} ≈ -1.17
t_{2} ≈ 0.70 [/spoiler]

So is it inertia that keeps us on the ground?

It doesnt make sense that the Earth's size does. It's like saying if a dust mite flys past you that it will continue to rotate around you forever

I disagree on everything.

If I could, I'd remove you and your ilk from reality.

So how exactly do you travel 600 miles when you only have fuel for 400 miles to start with? Makes no sense. Regardless of some sneaky maneuvering and tactics with those fuel drums. If anything, it makes the driven distance even LONGER.
