On the subject of things being possible, I'm trying to accomplish something very probable.

I am attempting to relearn everything from basic arithmetic to modern day calculus, in a quest to orient my daily life in a mathematical direction. As a physics major, I do not intend on doing one subject, I want to become a polymath if you will...

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to recall information when finished with a textbook? (e.g. keep a reference notebook that notes the steps of your journey/progress).

Also is there a solid book that covers arithmetic to algebra to geometry to trigonometry and up to calculus? A godly reference book, as well as a self- learning resource?

Thanks and wish me luck!
