Well, perhaps you're right. You must understand why I would think otherwise, considering how undergraduate admissions works for almost every school.

What do you think would be a good goal GPA to shoot for to get accepted? How many years of research, internships, etc.? Extracurriculars?

The professor I am going to do research with has a lot of honors and awards, seems to be quite esteemed.
