Saw a video couple of weeks ago of a piece of uranium in a cloud chamber. They way it shot off particles opened my eyes for radiation.
Up until now I had imagined the radiation as a cloud around the material like you see in cartoons.

But how can radiating materials make other things radioactive? Does the particles stick to the hit material and radiate on from there?

Need to finish my studies so I can get a job so I can make money and buy a nice place to live and cool things for my new place and watch as the world goes on and try and help fix it doing my job.

We went to the moon and that was really cool.
I'll be able to witness the first man on mars within 10 years and maybe even the 100 year anniversary of the moon landing.

We need to infest the rest of the universe.

Energy technology.
Some dudes came up with a way of saving the energy from the sun in the summer time and use it when it's winter again.

A kind of salt that can store a lot of energy and release it when it changes state.

Why doesn't any sci-fi book or series seem to acknowledge the time difference when traveling faster than light?
In ringworld there are several human planets in different systems, there is FTL travel but never any time differences.
