>Hasn't even made Antarctica more hospitable with our already nice and thick atmosphere, or capable of changing the median temperature by a fraction of a degree

>Actually influencing a system several times larger and orders of magnitude more extreme

Fewer and fewer good careers in geology.

Ore deposits are getting harder to find, costlier to exploit and the profits on mining have been going down. Junior miners are trash. Senior minors want a garden salad of post graduate academic credentials.

Commodities markets are in the toilet and cyclical, petroleum is going nowhere but down long term.

Not that great a field desu. Go become a nurse instead.

t. Geology degree working in civil engineering project management.
