>I'm sorry, but there's just no excuse for anyone in History to have his name stamped on such a simplistic theorem

History isn't written by the smartest.

History is sensationalism. Not logic.

And if you saw life through the eyes of the eternal self, rather than the temporary ego that has been branded with some arbitrary name, you wouldn't care about who gets their name stamped on history.

What's your name? What do you care how many times those syllables are uttered in that order after your death? They didn't know you. They didn't lay with you at night, feed you, clothe you, raise you. Sure they might idolize you, but only the cherry-picked memories that you want them to idolize.

Such is the phenomenon of fame. The truly mature don't give a fuck about it.

The entire universe will perish. All accumulated history will be destroyed with it. When you're done with a board game, you put all the pieces back in the box, and you throw away your score sheet.

Unless you're too attached.

But then you just accumulate score sheets until you have so many that not any given one of them are worth remembering.

Of course, cherry-pick the ugliest nerd you can find and a tanned, attractive young Christian male (who has probably never read the bible) with a sixpack and focus your lens on it REAL HARD so you can make the incredibly false conclusion that the "main difference" between Atheists and Christians isn't belief or lack thereof in a personal God, but rather that it's some shallow aesthetic difference that is decided upon by genes at least as much as it's decided upon by lifestyle. Bravo.

"Religion has had more geniuses than atheism could ever have."

Also, good job. You talk about "Atheism" and "Religion" as though they were giants walking around somewhere, occasionally engaging in combat, when shit is NOT THAT SIMPLE.

There are Atheists who reached their lack of beliefs through shallow logic like "Fuck church, I hate going, fuck my mom, she's a bitch." and there are Atheists who reach their lack of beliefs through reasonable logic, like "religion is a social institution which has outlasted any use if may have once had, such as uniting early pre-scientific peoples under an intellectual banner that allowed them to cooperate despite inevitable differences in personality."

Fuck these STUPID Atheists who think all religious people are drooling retard conformists who cling to conservative social dogma.

AND

Fuck these STUPID religious people who think all Atheists are pale, basement-dwelling neckbeards who only ever think about the dichotomy between the religious and the nonreligious (and how the fuck would their physical appearance hold any sway over the credibility of their arguments anyway? Seriously, how could your eyes be closed to the fact that you're being shallow as fuck?) .

It's NOT THAT SIMPLE.
