They wouldn't though because the significant difference between humans and other animals is that humans actively chose to migrate to different regions, actively chose to fuck each and actively chose to learn each other's languages and behavior patterns. The vast majority of other animals don't do any of this period which is why humans seem like freakazoids in comparison thus justifying the extra categorization. As a matter of fact the only other comparison to human species and it's "races" I can think of would be the happy face spider from Hawaii.

And no dogs don't count because they were domesticated and artificially selected to be different. Meanwhile the happy face spider actually represents a small microcosm of human migratory behavior, polymorphic differences and mating habits. All independent of human intervention.
