Exactly this, nobody seems to realize that exactly one week after the "spike" from retroactively reclassifying all confirmed infected deaths (even if only through a lung CT scan rather than the, at the time much more so rare testkits) they went back to the old method of classification, pic related. So, only classifying COVID-19 deaths as such if the people were tested before they died. Source:

China reverted back to the old way of counting cases and deaths a week after the "spike" (due to actually counting cases and deaths, not just limited by testkits but also counting obvious cases based on lung CT scans etc.) so we're back to having completely total utter fucking bullshit numbers rather than just completely bullshit numbers now.
