there is no super duper secret government tech, anyone who pays attention to reality instead of living in a world of soience fiction memes has long since realized that the government is populated by talentless ignoramuses. they circulate rumors of super duper secret tech in popular media that gets consumed by morons as a bluff to prevent people from realizing how lame and weak the fags in government really are. nasa can't even build a rocket. the companies the government subcontracts to for hardware builds cheap garbage which falls apart at the seams.

NASA's current staff is 100% dead weight diversity hires.
Since NASA can't do anything on it's own all the real work goes out to subcontractors.
They also have laws in place which require the subcontractors to be nearly 100% dead weight. So the subcontractors hire overseas subcontractors to do all the real work and that how you end up with NASA paying $10 billion dollars to get $10 million worth of value.
