So why does death exist in biology, if life is just the energy in a more stable state combined than apart, why does death exist in biology. Why would a biological machine implement a death protocol into itself.

Take bacteria for example, they do not die, they divide and now live on in two different entities, they don't age. So why don't higher lifeforms do that?

And lobsters don't die either.

Haii guise!!! I'm trying to solve a probability problem and am experiencing difficulties. You have a gun with 5 bullet holders. You have only one bullet and you pull the trigger 4 times in succsesion. The bullet has a 33% mortality rate (only every third bullet will kill). How much chance of killing do you have in those 4 shots?

why not (3/2)*e^(x/3)

Psh. He's not a real doctor anyway.

The advantadges are largely the same as the disadvantadges. It depends.

I'm having trouble deciding what to major in college. I'm looking between Biology and Economics. Currently I have all my GEs done and I'm going to be a sophomore next year. What are the job markets for a non-pre-med bio degree and with an economics degree? Both interest me but biology will be a lot more effort than economics. I pretty much want a decent pay after college but i'd be willing to try graduate school as well. State school btw that excels in both departments.

What type of jobs we getting with either degree /sci/?

Murder should only include legal adults.

Anyone younger can be aborted.

Problem?

Shotgun shells aren't science :(

I suppose it'd work decently. Alternately could we use it to amplify sound for a demoralizing effect?

What is it called in logic when the same argument is used multiple times in different forms?

Can't seem to come up with a good example. The ones I think of all seem flawed.

>Entropy is an extensive property, its always reliant on the size of the system.

This explains a lot. The more mass is diluted, the lower local gravity, the less time dilation.

However I'm not sure how it applies to complex stuff such as life (an extreme example).

>>2500834
The expansion of space is an entropy in itself.
