But anon, actually admitting to my failures and addressing them to grow as a person means I have to say that I'm at the root of the problem, and we here at /sci/ never admit that we're wrong about anything, ever. It has to be something that I can't change even though I've never made an honest effort to change it.

I won't appreciate my lot in life, though, so I have every right to be mad at those damn normies for being turned off when I speak to them without thinking of what might interest them or why I'm even talking to them in the first place. I can't ask where a girl got the plushie on her purse or talk about a recent exam with a guy from one of my courses. I have to talk about things that are only relevant to me without considering relevance to them. It's not because I'm really inwardly absorbed, or anything; it's just because I like nerdy things!
