Can science study everything so long as it exists?

Fuck I relate to this post a lot but I'm a year younger. Only issue with me is I have very bad mental health issues.

I want to focus on learning and using my brain again, learning some math and maybe chemistry. Is it realistic for me to do so without any hope of a job in the future? I mean obviously I'm not expecting to be STEM tier without doing a course in it but to at least be close to that. Is that realistic as an autistic NEET just sitting inside?

Id rather be wasting my time learning things rather than how I currently waste it (vidya, fapping, internet shitposting)

What scientific proof exists to provide that a year has significance and that it takes 365 days to complete some kind of cycle?

If you started counting days from today, how would you figure to stop counting and assume a cycle? Do you think if you did this, you would find a period of 365 days makes sense? Or would you be more inclined to believe there were more days in a year to truly match the supposed "cycle"?

>Gifted and talented in elementary, got great A-B grades with the rare C in non-STEM classes
>begin to slump in high school, mainly due to not wanting to do any homework, but still manage to learn the material and score well on all the in-class assignments and tests
>Part of global technologies program because from a young age I did extremely well with math and science-related subjects, especially geometry and biology
>enter junior year, here's where it starts going downhill
>get assigned to a pre-calculus class and I'm fucking horrible at it
>I fail the class, mainly because I 'didn't show my work' when solving problems
>same with computer science, which was basically all about learning Java coding and nothing else, and I couldn't care less about learning a whole programming language at that point in my life
>still manage to do well enough with algebra though, as well as geometry and the various sciences
>Eventually end up slumping when it comes to hard maths, especially struggling with statistics in college
>Originally wanted a degree in engineering, but since I doubted my skills in math at this point I switched to political science because I could afford getting a shit degree, plus I'm really into international politics
Why did I suddenly lose my ability to work with numbers. /sci/? Was it all a ruse and I was actually a brainlet from the start? Or did I get a concussion I don't remember and that's where all my intelligence went?
