>Was convinced in high school and first year of college that I sucked at math too much to ever be good at science
>Take college algebra and precalc in freshman year of college. Have a hard time in both, damn near failed precalc but thanks to syllabus magic and a ton of effort near the semester managed to get an A. "Will never take calculus" I said.
>Decide to major in psychology. Don't really care for all the social science bullshit though and most interested by biopsych.
>After some thought decide to give biology a try anyway. Sign up for general chemistry (pre-req for biology)
>Barely manage to pass entrance test by going on wikipedia and reading the article on "chemistry" before the test
>Next year get "A" in gen chem I, "A-" in gen chem II, and A's in both semesters of intro biology.
>Transfer to top 20 university, declare major as neuroscience
>Get A's in most classes including calculus II
>Do thesis so intense that every professor who looks at my posters or listens to a presentation asks how the fuck I managed to do it. One tells me I have more data than he's seen in most master theses.
>MFW I look back and realize that I'm about to graduate with a 3.8 GPA and an honors degree in neuroscience from a top 20 university

Take it from me, don't think you can't do something until you actually do it. I've done nothing but constantly surprise myself over the past four years.

27m^3

27 cubic metres

Cubic root of (27m^3) =

3sqrt 27 * 3sqrt m^3

=

3 m^1 = 3m

Am I right, or am I a fucktard??

I'm not quite sure if this would be the place to ask this but.....what the fuck is the "Empiricist criterion of meaning"?

I'm forced to deal with this philosophy shit for a whole year and now i gotta analyse crap on this. Only problem being, it isn't stated anywhere whether this shit is a set criterion, because there appearantly WAS such a thing until some moron decided to question it. Then it was changed. And so on and so on, but it's never stated whether i'm supposed to talk about a set one or if it's just the general idea of it?

If it's the general idea of it, how can i analyse if that Empiricist criterion of meaning crap fits its own criteria? Just analyse ALL the possible forms of it?

I hope someone here can help me, i'm desperate with all this philosophy shit i have to deal with, i just want my regular history goddamnit....i'd even settle for godforsaken geometry, at least pyramids don't have a side that is 6 but it might be 8 and then again it might be a potato.....

Dear /sci,

When factoring trinomials/binomials/etc. is x^3-25 prime? Since 25 is a square and not a cube?

Hey /sci/ I got a physics exam tomorrow and im not asking for homework help, simply asking for a little help with special relativity - specifically time dilation. If in a problem it gives a time I find it hard to distinguish if it should be used as the t value or the t' value in the time dilation equation. Any tips/advice?

Since light has no rest mass it can reach C

But mass increases as velocity increases, so since light is always traveling at C (?) presumably it does have mass.

Does light produce gravity?
