Okay, back on topic. As for molecular nanotechnology, I can't see the industry adopting a mechanical paradigm that phases out electronics. Though Drexler's little Analytical Engines are not entire required for a nanocomputer, for example, you can twist a graphene monolayer into a bilayer and get a sufficient bandgap for a logic gate.
