The actual guidance, communications, and scientific section of the probe will be somewhere between this size and phone sized, but the light sail will be around 4 meters in diameter apparently. This is the only way we can send probes to another star system in a relatively short timeframe. The good news is that each probe is quite cheap, this will allow us to pretty much shotgun blast nearby star systems without having to worry about losing individual probes.
