Hey guys. I'm doing my Core 2 maths a level exam in 3 hours.

I still cant fucking understand how to divide polynomials.

for example: x^3 + 7x^2 + 14x + 6 divided by x+3

help its worth like 6 marks

Alright /sci/, I'm having a lack of ideas so maybe you can help.

I need three numerical ways to solve this equation to work out when it passes and certain value of Y.

Y = Y0 * e^(kt)

Where Y0 = 15 and k = 1e-5

I'll be using MATLAB to crunch the numbers. Don't ask why I need to do this, it's for this retarded-ass assignment.

Any help would be appreciated.
