Can anyone help explain it? And how it can produce enough thrust to help interstellar travel?

> energy is not created
> energy is not destroyed

Their called Newton's LAWS for a reason, because e laws can be broken. How else can you explain this?

Has science and physics ever been so completely BTFO by a single piece of hardware as in this case, /sci/?

It's literally just a copper tube with a metal plate at the end, and yet it's completely blown apart centuries of understanding.

What went wrong, /sci/?

Hey /sci/ if the em drive is actully real couldn't you make unlimited power with it?

Since the emdrive converts power to acceleration the speed of it changes exponentially while the power requirement stays the same. Couldn't you just plop a whole bunch of em drives on a wheel connected to a generator it will produce net gain of power once it hits a critical speed?

Im a non sciencefag here but going into college soon, i.e, Im a /sci/ virgin. What is this thing? What mathematics were done to complete it? Does it work, or will it become just another meme and the laughing stock of the /sci/ boards on every chan?

if you can move through space by pointing a laser on a sail, and the laser is attached to the craft that the sail is attached to.

Then why is this controversial?

What if somehow the microwaves are causing violent temperature changes in the structure of the container chamber causing tiny particles being propelled and that's why the system works? someone needs to test it weighing the drive before and after a long operation in order to notice if the machine is losing mass or not
