In my senior year on my game theory exam I ended up with a system of equations, 4 variables 4 unknowns and I couldn't solve it. (I usually would have been able to but I was tired and I didn't know linear algebra at the time)

I've since learned a ton more math and taught myself to program but I was a full blown brainlet at the time.

Hmm, I wonder if making a bunch of foxes (who have relatively short lifespans compared to ours) fuck each other a bunch of times is cheaper than using absurdly expensive gene editing that we don't know how to fully and reliably utilize yet.

It's literally cheaper to just build more complex machines to do these jobs for us. Machines will work for free, wont disobey a direct order, and will accomplish a task with the utmost efficiency.
