So lads, just got my final year results. I'm going to graduate with a 1st in mathematics despite going to literally 2% of my lectures, handing in only half my assignments, and learning all the material by reading the textbook in the one or two days before the exam.

What is the official definition of the term "brainlet" /sci/ ? I'd had some anons says it means someone who is slightly above average intelligence but not as intelligent as they make themselves out to be. Is this accurate?

How do I get good at algebra? I've forgot everything I learnt at school. Don't even remember how to use sin, cos, and tan, haha.

Is Machine Learning just applied linear algebra? I am asking because as a prerequisite for my uni's neural network course, we have the option to either take upper-division linear algebra or machine learning.
