but it seems stupid because there have to be more negative feedbacks on earth than anywhere else. the warmer it gets, the farther the tropics extend, and they'll just start locking the carbon back up.

first 2 years of undergrad are the same for anyone really. there's no good or bad about it- you just either get it or don't. it's only later on when courses tend to be more specific and subjective that it starts to matter a lot.
wasting tons of money to learn the same relatively basic stuff seems foolish to me. the popularity of going to a community college for 2 years then transferring is pretty good evidence of this.
