Don't do engineering, at least not aerospace engineering. I busted my ass in a very good public ivy uni, graduated magna cum laude, got a computational science certificate on the side, and left with research and internship experience. With all that, I still couldn't get an engineering job when I graduated, and I had to take up a somewhat unrelated job that I absolutely hate. Now, I'm trying to once again find engineering jobs but my applications simply keep on getting rejected. I might KMS if I'm rejected from grad school as well, jesus christ. What was the goddamn point of getting an engineering degree? All I do now is write patents, it sucks so much and I use 0% of my engineering knowledge. Is anyone else in a similar situation?
