newfag here needing help w/ basic Analysis.

I'll rip the problem straight out of the book:

"A rectangle is inscribed in a circle of radius 2. (see fig.) Let P=(x,y) be the point in Quadrant 1 that is a vertex of the rectangle and is on the circle.

Express the area A of the rectangle as a function of x."

I know the answer is "4x√(4-x^2)"
But i want to know the steps to get to that answer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated by this math pleb.
