I'm trying to evaluate the integral <span class="math"> E_z = \frac{1}{4\pi \epsilon _0}\int^{L}_{0} \frac{2\lambda z}{(x^2+y^2)^\frac{3}{2}}dx [/spoiler] and I have no clue how you get <span class="math"> \frac{1}{4\pi \epsilon_0} \frac{2\lambda L}{z\sqrt{L^2+y^2}} [/spoiler]
I know this is easy shit but im a babby american freshman trying to figure this out. Should I try to solve it by integration by parts or u sub? :[
