It won't be small so much as paper thin, since it'll never get out of the design phase. We will only use uranium nuclear reactors. That's because uranium-based nuclear exploitation supports the real reason for nuclear power in the first place: Military focus. We only have commercial nuclear reactors today because we have a military nuclear program.

Thorium can't be be made into nuclear weapons. So society itself isn't interested in it. That won't change no matter how many of you basement-dwelling, virgin-nerd, Cheetos eaters want to see the "Thorium Age".

The pictures continue to relate. If only Thorium DID produce as much economical heat as /sci/ does.
