>its another "professor tells me to tinker with the data until it fits his hypothesis" episode

how do you (technical assistants) cope with this?
today i had a perfectly congruent set of data, the flaw was that the data suggested that the opposite of the profs hypothesis was true, so i had to falsify the stats into oblivion.
this shit makes me fucking angry, this german boomer earns his money by producing fake data all day long. on a sidenote, he is the best friend of a leading german climate change professor, so without even looking at the studies regarding climate change i now assume that its all faked data as well.

If I would stop thinking negatively about everything, could I end my depression?
Could I be a normal human being again, if only I started smiling and if I would force myself to think in a positive way?
Are there any good studies about this?
