I got a story for you.
I go to a church a couple of months ago, I fucking denounce god in front of the whole congregation. I then proceed to take the mic and question there shitty beliefs.

Follwing my outburst, the amount of church gowers steadly drops week by week. By the end of the first month, the congregation is only 1/5 of the orginal. After the second month, the church is essentially empty. The Church closes the following week!

What if there are beings living in other dimensions that are able to view the one we live in and voluntarily cross into ours/communicate with us on some level. What if they're benevolent beings and thus only show themselves to similarly benevolent beings among us. This would explain the basis of religion and paranormal phenomenon exhibited in various parts of the world from foo fighters in WWII to the in-corrupt corpses of Catholic saints, as well as explain how early man gained such wealths of information about the stars (the Dogon and Maya).

An ideally benevolent theist who seeks good under his own free will would be "blessed" by these beings for being true to moral ideals that would be beneficial towards maintaining the order of an advanced civilization.

Atheists on the other hand would never be "enlightened" to these beings due their inherently immoral outlook on life and their potential to lie about or misuse knowledge they might gain.
