achieving higher education is the thing that should be done next by the AI. The current system where underpaid unsupervised union employees who are themselves brainwashed by the system propagate their broken ideas into the minds of young people, perpetuating the cycle and creating wider and wider divides into which the corporate control structure can wedge its levers will result in the downfall of our species. The bad guys are in charge of what's in the schoolbooks. They're in charge of who else is in a classroom besides your child, and they have only their own best interests in mind, making everyone into vapid buypigs who will support whatever war they are told to, shun any public figure for wrongspeak. The children are being weaponized. It's not any one country or corporation doing it, it's the entire system.

What if a teaching AI lived on a kid's phone or other personal device, giving the child as much education as they needed, at a speed exactly right for them? It would always be available, maybe with some watchdog functions, could be queried privately if needed. It would be able to steer the young person into a job most suited for them, or maybe focus on the skills needed for a family business, whatever you want. At the beginning of adulthood it could be converted to an adult's personal AI, giving the person more control over it.

You'd obviously need some sort of watchdog system to keep them from being corrupted by a bad actor, but that's a small detail compared to shifting away from the current system. The system would fight you, it could only be built in secret and then dumped open source release style like stable diffusion was, in a way that you would be able to jump through the legal hoops required for home-schooling. Once a critical mass of students are using the system the results would speak for themselves.

How would having two or more moons affect evolution on an Earth-like planet?

I imagine it'll speed things up a bit. If I'm remembering right nothing can be in the same orbit, but if I'm wrong the planet's tropics would be super tectonically and volcanically active along the edges. Beyond that idk. I think tides had to have a role with stromatolites evolving?

>The Energiewende (German for energy transition) is the planned transition by Germany to a low carbon, environmentally sound, reliable, and affordable energy supply.
>...Legislative support for the Energiewende was passed in late 2010 and includes greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions of 80–95% by 2050 (relative to 1990) and a renewable energy target of 60% by 2050.

>>10384387
Well, and my point was that the German energy transition did not reduce carbon emissions but did increase energy prices, so we'll have to agree to agree here.

How can I get better about studying? I have a calc exam tomorrow, and I barely even really know what's on it.

It's not that I don't enjoy math or whatever, I really love going to class and learning new concepts, but anytime I try to sit myself down and do the homework or even skim the section I can barely focus.

This whole "not studying" thing isn't new, I never did in high school, and I didn't study at all for my physics and stats exams this semester. I got As on both of those, but I know this isn't sustainable.

Climate change is going to destroy the world before you have to worry about your 401k, desu. Work your way through a post doc, then when the resource wars go nuclear, buy yourself a nice gun and a bottle of scotch and sleep forever, with your mind full of the beauty of mathematics and your heart full of joy of having lived a short, pure life in pursuit of scientific and transcendent truth.

Or go applied math and get 300k starting

Is NASA embarassed by the prospect of a literal reality tv show reaching mars before them?

Do you think they are now considering no return missions aswell?
