Assuming you have x years left to live, you can only move up immortality's release date by x/10 years.

I'm assuming you're at least 18. Try to come to grips with the fact that you have less than 80 years to live, and therefore can only move up immortality's invention date by less than 8 years.

If the cure for death is at least 50 years away you can't beat death with the button unless you think you're going to live for at least 500 years. In which case, why bother becoming immortal? 500 years is plenty of time to lose your faith in humanity and kill yourself.

How many of you would consider yourselves good at doing mental math?

I'm talking things like being able to solve problems such as 24 * 36 or 19894 + 741 under 2 and a half minutes. If so, how did you train yourselves to be able to do it?
