A lot of people left /sci/ when the troll problem went without notice from the mods.

Even more good contributors left when moot made /diy/ , since they didn't need to listen to "engineering lol, not science"-bs all the time.

I used to be a huge contributor, with many good 100+ post threads consisting of as much as 45% of my posts.

But in time, I saw how threads about science news got maybe five posts amounting to

>not practical

Now I spend maybe half an hour a day here and sometimes don't come here for weeks.
