Was there ever a /sci/ without the religion trolls or the college major trolls or the homework trolls or the general asshattery that everyone on here seems to want to exemplify?

I mean, it's 4chan. asshattery and trolls abound. But why cant we have scientific trolls and asshattery? Whats with all this superiority complex and religion bullshit?

And don't tell me to get confidence, it's a lot harder to achieve such a thing than it is to tell someone to go achieve it. And the whole "not caring" bit when it comes to females have always left me just feeling too lazy to even leave the house. But that doesn't stop the loneliness from creeping up time-to-time.

I often fear that I might have to resort to being the physically abusive type just so a woman would stay with me. Feels bad man.

What's the scientific reasoning behind this?

Is it wrong that I don't know how to arithmetically do long division anymore? Yet still can do rough estimates and generalizations in my head?

I'm 20-years-old, in my second year as a chemistry major, and feel inadequate about this. Even more so I can't remember how to do the bloody thing.
