People use sage to express disapproval at a thread. For instance people who post in a thread just to say sage... wtf is the point of that? There is no point it's just people copying what they've seen others do.

Just accept that /b/ is the dominant culture of 4chan and deal with it. /ck/ doesn't sage every Ramen thread that is posted... and they are posted all the time... it's just learned to deal with them. They just ignore it, hide it and forget it.
