Certainly true. It would be foolish to only look at IQ. The Big 5 measure of contentiousness, as well as sub categories of the others are also important aspects of a human (spouse). Along with beauty and height as a proxy for general health.

But I wouldn't go so far as those who run the world are the best, by definition. The will to power is too often sociopathic. Besides those who truly have the most influence on the world over time are the prophets and philosophers.
