Doesn't change the fact that college is 99% fluff created to throw money at. If colleges weren't money scams and indoctrination centres, then books, lessons, tutors, labs and everything else would be optional for everyone to take themselves how and wherever they like. In a perfect world all i had to do is go to a college, pay them a fee to take a test (written or practical) or get my thesis reviewed and then recieve a nation wide accepted document saying i am capable of doing xyz and that's it, no strings attached.

I've quit my dead-end job last year as a factory worker after years of being unmotivated and am now back in high school in a kind of condensed course. I do 5 years of high school in 2 years (already finished the first year w at least a B- for everything). I'm not interested in a high paying job: i could've gone and done some offshore drilling if i wanted money.

I got back into it bc i heard about neuroprosthetics, but now i see your first point, pertaining a Biomedical Degree being a meme major.
I wanted to slide into neuros by doing a bachelor in biomedical-tech and then get a masters degree for the prosthetics: would this also be considered a bad choice, and if so what do anons recommend to study instead that is related or at least as interesting in the long run?
