Say C's rate of formation is 0.079 M/s. If you want to find A's rate of disappearance, isn't it just basic stoichiometry? In other words, 0.079 x (2/3)? And negative to signify that A is disappearing.

A 35.8L cylinder of Ar is connected to an evacuated 1875L tank. If the temp. is held constant and the final pressure is 721 mmHg, what must have been the original gas pressure in the cylinder?

I know this is a simple question involving P1V1=P2V2

What I'm wondering is, when dealing with such questions where you have 2 tanks connected to each other, do we add the two values to find V2? So in this case would V2 be 35.8+1875 or just 1875?

Is the molar mass of the same gas at 2 different states constant?
