I am not sure about those heat tiles. They are either held in place against the hull with metal hooks or some sort of glue paste. Even on the new test ship the workers are seen to go over the glued ones each tile at a time checking them with a vaccuum suction hook if they stick or not.

Seems like a thing that is going to have to be manually checked after each flight before reusing the ship
