Discuss. I feel it's the science with the smallest degree of uncertainty, and therefore the best.

Ok math-physics-engineer-anythingthatmattersfags.

Have you ever tried teaching anyone the subject matter you yourself have recently been taught? I did it with some classmates, and actually was impressed at how much it widened my understanding of the concept.

Especially preparing for it highlights the gaps in my knowledge, and all in all, is the most rewarding tool of learning I've experienced. Even slightly more so than homework (I'm not implying that it is to be substituted) or creating your own problems based on the material.

I've been meaning to record myself explaining khan-academy style videos to my future self, thus learning through the process of creating the video without access to notes, and also for revising the material when I watch them some months later.

Videos would be Derivations/Proofs
and Problems.

Theory is written (by myself) in LaTeX in bulletpoint notes only as factsheet.

Thoughts?

TL;DR - Does your experience tell you that teaching is a creative and plausible way of learning?

Just a reminder:

There may not be a God. But if there is, he's always trolling you.

How do I learn to use Eulers formula to derive trig functions? Do I need a calculator?

Currently working on mine, and I'm wondering what life is like after. What kind of jobs do you guys have, what did you do for your thesis?
