Okay you dumb dumbs, let me explain this in a way you can understand.

Reproduction, just like sleeping or eating, is just a randomly evolved mechanism that HAPPENED to sustain the existence of the organism, which in itself does not have a purpose whatsoever. The organism survived NOT BECAUSE IT CHOSE TO, but simply because it happened to be alive due to all of the evolved mechanisms that allowed this to be possible. To say that reproduction is the purpose of life is equivalent to saying that eating food or sleeping is the purpose of life. Without them, reproduction wouldn't be possible, and vice versa. They are equally important to the organism and, at the same time, equally unimportant in the eyes of nature. Some organisms can live for a thousands years, and if something like this is universally easy to achieve in our universe, the mechanism of reproduction wouldn't even be necessary.

With that said, you people really need to have a better understanding of natural selection and science in general.
