>you're nw 20 lightyears away from the Earth let's assume acceleration was instant)
>due to relativity, the Earth perceives the time it took for this voyage as 2000 years
What would be the point, even if it was theoretically possible to travel at light speed? For the peopleon Earth, it's as if I was moving at 1/100 of the actual speed of light, since it took me 2000 years to reach a destination that was "just" 20 years away. At that pint it'd make more sense to just move a hundred times slower.
