I'd like to just take a moment to explain that my father is a fucking moron.

I was trying to get him to accept that religion is bullshit. I asked him to explain things like god, heaven, afterlife, etc, and he gave me no explanation. I told him "Things need a way to exist, and to do the things they do. Things to not 'simply exist' or 'Simply do something' it needs an explanation, and it needs a reason. You provide no explanation to your claims. They are baseless and without logic or evidence. That is why we dismiss them."

He then told me that gravity is just a theory, and that it doesn't need to have a way to exist in order to exist, or have a way to pull us down in order to do that. I face-palmed and went home.

What the fuck, even my own father is retarded.

I hate talking to people about ANYTHING that requires even a small amount of logic, because the shit always goes like this:
