Relativity does nothing to resolve the most basic singularity of Newtonian gravity:
As two point masses approach each other, their speeds explode to infinity.

Oh but things fall in the space-time geometry.

WHY THE FUCK DOEST IT FALL? THE QUESTION IS THE SAME OF THE BEGINNING, WHY DO THINGS FALL?

Oh hur durr if falls because of geometry.

Go fuck yourself.

>Literally ever astronomical model I've ever seen or heard of always acts like space is a flat board or grid, and completely ignores up and down
and they're correct.
>What if I went 100 light years straight down from the south pole?
That's impossible!

Thats also impossible.

Although we can understand and predict how the inherent laws of the universe behave, will we ever reach a point where we can understand what exactly dictates how and why these laws behave the way they do? What determines why these axiomatic laws and their seemingly arbitrary properties exist in the first place? Literally why does gravity exist, why do objects with mass attract one another for no apparent reason, and will we ever understand why it happens?
